If you did not know already Makayla spent her first grade year at the Utah School For The Deaf and Blind in the hearing impaired class. They have helped her so much. They got into a program where they wrote and produced an opera. We got to go watch as they performed it during their annual end of year speech fair. It is called the Lost Treasure. Makayla played a whale. Most of the pictures we got were of her "swimming" She loved it, and remembered right where she needed to go. She even go to be on the news! Click Here to see it.
At the end they said their name and what part they played. She was not even nervous at all. We are so proud of her!
