Our Ward Campout

I just found these pictures and realized I forgot to share them. The week before we went to Moon Lake we went on our ward camp out. We thought we were going to be so smart by putting an air mattress and sleeping bags in the back of our Durango and sleeping in there. We decided it was going to be better than setting up our tent for one night. Well what we didn't realize was how HOT it was going to be that night. Makayla fell asleep just fine, Micah fell asleep then woke up screaming and Clint wasn't able to fall asleep so at about 11:45 pm we rolled up all the stuff in the air mattress put the car seats back in and headed home! Well Makayla was bummed because she was excited for a camp out so Clint set up our small tent in the yard and we all slept out there. It was lots of fun and the kids loved it. We may just have to do it again soon :o)

Moon Lake 2010

We had a great time on our trip to Moon Lake this year. The weather was wonderful, we had great food and had lots of fun with the Monson family. We went on lots of walks and hikes and fished and played on the beach. Here are some fun pictures from our camping trip.

Chane and Holly let us borrow their tent trailer. It was super nice of them and very nice for us while we were camping.

We love Moon Lake! And after many many years of having strange weather and weird experiences it was nice to have a fairly uneventful trip :o)

Makayla: Um, Ok but only after lunch.

Ding Dong Ding Dong Ding Dong Ding Dong (constant as Micah rings the doorbell on Makayla's doll house)
Makayla: ( getting annoyed by the noise) Micah there is nobody home!

Our kids are super funny and cute! BTW Micah is a pretty efficient walker these days and I am sure will start running any day now ...
