Halloween!

Da na na na da na na na Batman!!

This year was super fun ... Makayla and Micah got way too much candy and had a blast. Micah loves playing with the little candy packages (just wait till he can eat what is inside, it will be way better!!) and Makayla was stoked about all of the treats.
The week started at Aunt Holly's work on Thursday. They did trick or treating around all of the offices and she was nice enough to invite us over.

Then Friday came and it was the ward Trunk or Treat. This was the first year that we went to the trunk or treat and it was MADNESS!! There were so many kids around and our 92 ounce bag of Costco candy was gone in 10 minutes!! We didn't even get to give candy to everyone ... then into the church for a spook alley given by the Cub Scouts and a little carnival. Makayla had a blast and didn't want to leave.

On Halloween we went to my parents for a super fun Halloween party. The kids played pin the nose on the pumpkin, did a fishing game for a prize, and picked a pumpkin to decorate and take home. It was fun to see the family and their costumes.
Later that night I got to take Makayla and Micah Trick or Treating while Clint passed out candy. According to Makayla I had to follow her so she was the leader and she showed us which way to go. Micah was nice and relaxed in the stroller and almost fell asleep. It was fun and Makayla wanted to stay out longer but I reminded her that we have plenty of candy at home and that Daddy would want to see her treats so we were able to go home!

We had a wonderful and tiring Halloween, but look forward to the rest of the holidays this year. It is busy for our family. Makayla's birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas and my birthday!
