This year Makayla's school also got a grant to have a dance teacher come in. Her name is Miss Joni. She came once a week and taught them how to make and hold shapes with their bodies, fill space, balance and skipping. She invited parents to the last class so we can see all the things they learned. Most of the pictures are of Makayla and her friend Savanna. They are best friends!
With all of Makayla's low muscle tone issues skipping has been a challenge but she is doing great now. Here she is skipping across the gym.

Cassie is a year younger than Makayla but they ride the van to and from school together and are buddies.
