Here it is, after 4 Christmases and 4 years of tears over being within a 3 foot radius of Santa we have a smile!! Makayla has decided that that Santa guy is not so bad. This Santa was her third time on Santa's lap. The first time she froze and was instantly shy and wouldn't tell him what she wanted, then cried when he was gone when we went back to tell him. But we assured her that Santa is a pretty smart guy and she did write him a letter so he would know. Later that night Santa was at a family party and she went up to him at least 3 times to let him know that she wants a Pink Barbie. She is thorough! The Santa in the picture was at our ward party and she bounced the entire time in line because she was just so excited she couldn't stand it.
I have been reminded everyday for the past month that Santa is coming soon to our house. And now that Christmas is so close she asks if Santa coming tonight? While it is a little bit bothersome to be asked everyday, it has been fun to see her get so excited. And the domino effect has made Clint and I so very excited for Christmas to get here.
