Fishing!!

WE got Makayla a fishing pole last year and she has been dying to use it and Clint has been wanting to go. Since Clint had Friday July 3rd off for the 4th of July weekend we decided to go fishin'!

We found this cute little pond in Murray. We saw fish jumping as soon as we got there and thought that was a good sign.

Makayla was ready to go! She waited patiently for her fish keeping a close eye on the pole for movement.

Clint re-casted her line for her and told her when to start slowly reeling it in so it wouldn't get caught.

After a while and no bites on either line, Clint ended up getting his hook caught on some chicken wire and got it off and I took Makayla to the playground to play, Clint caught something ...

Too bad it was a sunken boat!! We saw something sticking out of the water and he hooked it and brought it to shore.

Hopefully we will have better luck next time!
