We started this year at an extended Monson Family Reunion. It was fun to see so much extended family that we have never met before and to see pictures of our relatives.
At dinner we went to a BBQ at my parents house. After playing games for a while we broke out the fireworks. Makayla actually enjoyed them this year! 
She did not cry and she just covered her ears when they were too loud.
She even got to help choose which fireworks to do next. Micah loved watching them! He cried in the middle of the fireworks when there was nothing going on. We will see how he does next year when he is a little bit older! We had an awesome day and hope that you all did too!
