WOW I am so behind!
We had a wonderful Christmas this year.
On Christmas Eve we mostly just hung out and got some food ready for our Christmas Eve dinner at my parents house. Makayla and I made some cookies for Santa then we headed to the Monson house for a delicious dinner. Santa even made an appearance and Makayla did not cry. I was shocked! She ran across the basement and yelled Mom Look Santa! So cute.
Christmas morning came and Santa did visit our house!

I am sure that you will enjoy our makeshift fireplace mantel! The joys of no fireplace :o) Santa ate almost all of the 5 cookies that Makayla instisted that we leave out, aparantly Santa is one hungry guy!
Makayla woke up around 8:30 which is so weird because she always wakes up around 7:00!! Makayla had a blast opening presents and got super spoiled. She even had fun passing out (and helping open) presents to Mommy and Daddy!

Here is Makayla with all of her presents - Our puppy Trixie was a family gift, she got some puzzles, a sweatshirt and slippers, the Tinkerbell Movie, a mini Cabbage Patch Doll, Candy Land, a set of twin babies and a small digital camera. What a great Christmas!!
My Mom and Dad came and ate breakfast with us and stayed for a little bit because it was snowing, and because it snowed like 2 feet of snow on Christmas day we had fun as a family playing Candy Land, watching Wall E (like 3 times thanks Santa!!) and spending lots of time as a family.
We feel so blessed this Christmas and can't even find to words to thank our Savior for all of our many blessings and the joy that we have in our lives. We hope that all of our friends and family had a fantastic Christmas and we wish you all of the best this new year.
