She is getting excited because in her own words:
"I am going to a new school where the kids have hearing aides like me"
yes I cried when I heard that. We are excited to see where the next school year takes her and are so proud of all the things that she has accomplished considering how she has not been able to hear properly.
Her speech therapist opened my eyes a little when she helped me realize that while she is 6 1/2 her hearing age is only 7 months. Puts things in perspective a little
