We came home on Sunday. We got up on Monday morning and went fishing. We went to Kidney Pond in South Jordan. We didn't catch any fish but Clint did catch a couple of crawdads. It was pretty fun anyway. Hopefully we will have better luck on our next fishing trip.
Later that day we went to a BBQ with the Monson's. We also had a fun fireworks show. Since our kids had just had surgery 4 days before and their ears were still pretty sensitive they had to wear ear protection. They faught it at first but then did not mind wearing them after a minute :o). Micah did better than I thought. When he got a little bit upset all you had to do was clap and he would join in and then he was fine. We had a blast and loved our long weekend as a family!
