Micah

Well believe it or not Micah turned 5 months old yesterday! I just can not believe how fast time has been going. This will be his 4 month and 5 month update since I have been a slacker at the blog lately!

4 & 5 Months
at Micah's 4 month well check on August 6, 2009 here are the stats
19 lb 14 oz
25 1/2 in long

He is growing great and is an awesome baby. The last week in July he started rolling from his tummy to his back which was so great. The only problem is that I had just gotten him used to tummy time when he figured out how to roll over! Now it is a battle to keep him on his tummy :o)
Micah has a favorite blanket it is a fleece blanket with dinosaurs on it. It is super cute I just can't believe that he has a favorite already! He loves to hear stories and play with toys that rattle or crinkle. There is a toy sun that crinkles that he just attacks! So cute. He has rice cereal every night before bed time and he is getting the hang of eating from a spoon. He really likes to stand up so our jumper is awesome. He jumps around and plays while I clean the kitchen.


Micah got his first haircut on August 15, 2009. Daddy cut it with his clippers and he tolerated it fairly well! He did cry toward the end though.

Here is our handsome little guy! He has just about grown out of his car seat so we had to get him a new one. A convertible car seat that can be rear facing for now. I can't believe he has grown so fast.

He is generally a very happy baby and he smiles a lot.

This is his first attempt at baby food. He had Sweet Potatoes and he wasn't too sure at first but he likes them now!

In the past week he has started almost rolling over from his back to his tummy. He would do it but he keeps getting hung up on his arm! But in his attempts he scoots across our front room floor. It has been fun to watch him play with toys and he grabs at anything in his reach. Just a warning if you don't want your sunglasses grabbed by baby don't let him see them! He still loves watching his mobile and it puts him to sleep when he gets grouchy. Micah totally loves Makayla. He smiles and gets excited when he sees her and she loves to hold him so it has been so fun to watch them interact. She shows him pictures in books and makes him laugh. Kids are the best. I love how sweet they are together!
