Easter

Our Easter weekend was fun but not at all like we had planned. Because Micah is so little we had decided that I would stay home with him and Clint was going to take Makayla to the Easter festivities on Saturday and Sunday. This was the plan until Friday when Makayla woke up crying really hard complaining that her side hurt and she had a fever. After a trip to the doctor and finding out that it is a viral infection that has been going around and leaving with the warning signs of appendicitis (thank heavens that did not happen) we were sent home to wait it out. We decided that she needed to stay home instead of running all over a park in the crazy weather that we have been having lately so poor Makayla only got to participate in one egg hunt this year. The one in our house on Easter morning.

We spent Easter Sunday lounging around watching movies and spending some great time together as a family. Makayla had a blast seeing what the Easter Bunny brought her and went crazy finding eggs.

Micah just slept through the excitement and Makayla made sure that he had his little toys from his Easter basket near him all day.

We also colored eggs which was a huge hit with Makayla!
